Text The orphans court appointed George Jones and Obed [also Obadiah] Stanford appraisers to report ont he real estate of Obed Bailey an orphan in the care of Leah Fooks his guardian. 31 Aug 1814 appraisers report negro George, 2/3s belonging to the orphan valued to L10, one old dwelling house with 2 brick chimneys in bad repair, one old kitchen not worth repairing, one old corn house, old smoke house and barn in bad repair, one old garden in bad repair, fencing in bad repair, 18 acres of woods, annual value one third of the said land L5.
