Text Orphans Court appoints John Landreth and Thomas Pollitt appraisers to report on the real estate of Henrietta Dams, orphan in the care of John Morris, her guardian. 28 Jan 1806. Appraisers report that there is one negro man named Joseph and a negro woman named Milly with three children belonging to the orphan and proper to be leased with the land; a dwelling house with two rooms and a corn house quarter or kitchen and a smoak house, a very indiffererent apple orchard, 120 acres of cleared land and 100 acres of woodland, annual value, including slaves to be L27.10.
