Text Orphans Court appoints John Jones (of Benjamin) and John McClester, appraisers to view and report on the real estate of George Jones, orphan, in care of Robert Jones his guardian. 13 Dec 1804 appraisers report that there is 33 acres of land, about 3 acres of which is cleared, the rest in woods and that there are 5 negroes, Caleb, Abraham,Philip, Sarh and Matilda, the annual value of the land to be $10 and slave to be $108. There is one house 16 by 14 feet much out of repair and 200 pannels of fence but indifferent.
