Text Orphans Court appointed William Russum and Charles Venable appraisers to report on the real estate of John Huffington, orphan in the care of Edward Phillips, his guardian. 17 Feb 1808 appraisers reported one old frame dwelling house covered with shingles with a brick gable end, one round pine log corn house 14 by 7, 94 apple trees 2 cherry trees and 1133 pannels of fencing, 150 acres of land, 45 of which is woodland, slaves Peter, Caleb, Sandy, Bob, Suckey, Martha, Jack, Joe, George, Bet, Sina, Sarah, Charles, Littleton, Harriot and Saul.
