Message Abstract States that C. Anderson has reported there from Forktown, without authority to close school for such purpose. Desires to know something of the school before returning him. Wishes information from Supt.
Message Body C. Anderson reports here today Forktown, having left there Saturday last. He went down on 22d of Oct. He has a school of 24, av att 18. He gives no excuse for coming home. Says he will return this week - Do you think best to return a teacher who would leave his school in this way? I think we'd better know something more about his school before returning him - Can you give me any information? [...] P.S. He says he will return on Thursday Shall I send him?
