Message Abstract States that Mr McGrath is responsible for all the trouble in their school: that he employed the teacher without consulting the trustees, &c. &c. &c.
Message Body Mr John Kimball Dear Sir as one of the Former Trustees of School and in this plase, and as one that Desires to See the things Go-on harmoniously Which hasnot bin the case & will not. While one man assumes to take an [[overbureing??]] cours as McGrath, in Every School that bin held heare. If things dont go to Sute him & his family he has With Drawn his childrin & commences a Warfare on us all, and as you know him & not us, he writes you What-Ever he pleases and you Take it all for Granted & facts But whare there is a large number cansirned. This Should not be the case, and if McGrath is to be the Trustees-or Superintendent of theSchool Make him Such & we will treete him as the officer of that Department. More the he has us. We Respect Mr Green as a Gentleman & had McGrath informed us offishilly and placed the letter he secured in our hands and Exsplained it to us as men placed in office by The people There would bin no Difficulty Everything Would went harmoniously on. But Green coming before Kelliys Time was out & No Explination offishily we did not understand the matter and it coming from The Score it did we thought it a nuther War To hav just such a Teacher as he wanted he is down on Mr Kelly & Sis if he can prevent it he shoud hav a nuther place from The Bureau. I am Resspectfuly yours Levin Selby no anser to this desired P.S. you Say to Mr Ried you Will visit [[strikethrough]] your [[/strikethrough]] us before long We do home when that visit takes place you will Rite this matter For it is desired by all the better thinking potion of this community your Respetfuly L.S. You Should be aware that men not Egucated in Business matters are Timid not knowing what is rite & rong in a business light and instruction from a Gentleman like you Self would be receved kindly more particular in School maters. That That we never Was before permitted to know Everything.
