Message Abstract States that their school is going on well. Requests that the Bureau furnish them with 1200 ft. more of lumber.
Message Body it is with pleasure I take my pen in hand to inform you that we are enjoying good health here and our schools are are going on and we are in prospering condition and we number 45 scholars and increasing all of the time and also we have a very nice [[strikethrough]]Tt[[/strikethrough]] Teacher and the most we need is a little help and if we could get our church finish it would give us a little better chance as we have ten dollars a month to pay of the teacher salary and fourteen dollars a month for board and fuel to buy and books to buy and if we could obtain a little help from our friends we would then be enable to finish our church and then we would turn our whole attention to the school we want twelve hundred feet more of lumber. we ask you if you will please to give us that amount of lumber and we have not many friends here they are nearly all rebels here please do all you can for us I looked for your letter that you promised to write to me when I was down to see you please answer this letter as soon as you get it Nothing more at preaseant.
