Became teacher in public school at Thomastown, Md, near her home; also took extension courses in Cambridge, Md & summer courses at Delaware State College, Dover, Del. & Hampton Institute, Va. She taught after husband James Stanley entered ministry and served as organist.
Family and Other Information Parents: Esau & Margaret Bell Spouse: James O. Stanley, teacher at Federalsburg, Md public schools; married 11/25/1911 for 38 yrs. Survived by husband, 2 foster daughters, Mrs. Ethelyn Nottingham & Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Philadelphia, brother Esau and Robert Bell of Philadelphia.
