Attended public elementary & high schools of Coatesville & prepared for teaching at West Chester State Teachers College, West Chester, Pa. Reared in Baptist faith & joined Zion Baptist Church in Coatsville. After marrying Rev. H. D. Davis, membership transferred to Methodist Church. Member of New Zion Methodist Church, Laurel, Del. Also served with husband at Townsend & Laurel charges, holding several positions there. Taught at Adams Community School & at Delaware State College, Dover, Del.
Family and Other Information Parents: Mr. C. J. Mabins & Mrs. Lizzie Chavers Mabins Spouse: Rev. H. D. Davis md. In 1944 - 2 children: Charles & Beverly Ann. Survived by: husband & 2 small children, father, stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Mabins, aunt- Annie Fox.
