Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information When a little over a year old, her father died & she took name of her stepfather, Johnson. Family moved to Vicksburg, Mississippi where she attended public schools. Graduated from Clark University in Atlanta, Georgia. Helped husband, Pezavia O'Connell in his duties where he served as district Superintendent or pastor of churches in Philadelphia; Wilmington, Del, Cleveland, Ohio, & Newark, N.J. Husband was Principal of Princess Anne Academy, Professor at Howard University & Morgan College & Gammon Theological Seminary. In 1920 they both joined faculty at Morgan Colelge. She taught in high school dept & was matron in dorm.
Family and Other Information Parents: George & Frances Freeman Spouse: Rev. Pezavia O'Connell (deceased) md. 10/24/1888 Foster daughters: Helen Gertrude Roberts, Mrs. Fannie Davis of Insker, Michigan. Foster sons: Dr. Bascom S. Waugh of Camden, N.J. & Dr. Cyril A. Walwyn of Tuskegee Institute in Alabama.
