Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information Educated in public schools of Quantico, Md & converted at young age. Barber by trade. Later moved to Salisbury, Md. Member of John Wesley Methodist Church of Salisbury for 36 yrs. Also Superintendent of Church School & was Local Preacher at the church. Received in Delaware Annual Conference in 1934. Charges: Leatherbury Chapel, Leatherbury, Flower Hill & Oakville Circuit; Wachapreague, Va.; Dames Quarter. Most effective work done at last charge including repairs & improvements at Macedonia & St. Charles churches & them becoming debt free.
Family and Other Information Parents: Abel & Mary Winder Spouse: Georgia A. Brown of Quantico, Md. Married in 1909. - several children. Survived by: widow Georgia, 3 children: Abel Winder, Mrs. Esther Fooks, Mrs. Thelma Vivian King, 2 grandsons, 2 sister & 4 brothers, 10 nieces, 14 nephews.
