Converted at early age. Traveled & made his home in Baltimore, Md. as longshoreman and became known as Captain Miles. He & wife went to pastorate of A.M.E. Church serving in Barkley, Grasonville, Chesapeake City & Jamestown, Md. Joined Delaware Conference in 1937.
Family and Other Information Parents: Alfred T. & Sabra Crappa Miles (he is 3rd surviving son) Spouse: Henrietta Barkley Brothers: Rev. W. A. T. & Clemon B. Miles serving at Marydel & Stevensville, Md., J. A. Miles. (came from Bridgeton, Trenton, N.J.; Camden, N.J.). Survived by 3 brothers & 2 sisters.
