Charges & districts served (sometimes as Superintendent): Pleasantville, N.J.; New Haven, Con.; Preston, Md.; Salisbury District; Montclair, N.J.; Asbury, Atlantic City, N.J.; Dover District; Philadelphia District; Zoar, Philadelphia. Was 32 degree Mason.
Family and Other Information Parents: Preston & Annie Francis Jewett (she passed 11/1942) Spouse: Lavinia Bailey at St. Michaels, Md., home of bride. - 3 children: Thelma Louise, Preston Bailey & Hamilton Sherman; Preston died in infancy. Surviving: Mrs. Jewett; daughter Mrs. Thelma L. Taite, social worker in NY City; son, Staff Sergeant Hamilton S. Jewett, with Armed Forces in North Africa; sister Mrs. Lida Miles of Crisfield.
