Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information 15 yo apprentice to printer in Easton & also learned his father's trade as gas-maker. He opened his own shop, but sold it to go to school in Lima N.Y. at Genesee Wesleyan Seminary. He went on to other places for additional schooling,including Doctor of Divinity. Became President of Delaware State College at Dover in 1896; resigning n 1923 to return to active ministry in Delaware Conference. Charges: Cheswold, Del; Centreville Circuit, Smyrna, Milford, St. Michaels, Oxford & Delmar & served on conference Board of Trustees. In 1936 he returned to State College as Chaplain. Resigned in 1941.
Family and Other Information Parents: William Jason - an ordained minister & Mary Wing Jason, daughter of Charles Wing, a Methodist clergyman of Wilimngton De & a pioneer of Delaware Conference. William & his 3 younger brothers, Ernest, Alonzo & Howard spent early years in Easton & Cambridge, Md. Spouse: Madora Evelyn Bailey of Exeter, New Hampshire. They married in his church in Orange, N.J.
