Attended state school for soldiers' orphans in Buck County, Pa and then graduated from Hampton Institute at 18 yo. Taught in public schools of Md & Del for 24 years. Joined Delaware Conference in 1901. Charges: Seaford, Del; Royal Oak, Md; Lawsonia, Md; Newman Memorial, Brooklyn, N.Y.; East New Martket, Md; Oxford, Md; Thirkield Jersey City, N. J.; Marion Station, Md. Served 41 yrs in ministry & served on various boards.
Family and Other Information Parents: Henry & Eliza Cooper Spouse: Maggie Turner who died when he was serving at Seaford. 2nd spouse: Miss Adelle Neal of Phoebus, VA. - 1 child: Neal Cooper. Surviving: widow, 2 sons, daughter & 1 grandson.
