Went through P.A. Academy and Morgan College & took postgrad courses at Columbia & Cornell Universities. Licensed to preach at 17 yo in Oakville, Md. Pastored in Ocean City, N.J. while in college & sent to St. Michaels, Md upon graduation. Then he was sent to Principalship of Princess Anne Academy. During his tenure the school advanced from high school to Jr. College & to a 4 year standard college. |

She died 10/7/1918. 2nd spouse: Cynthia Ola Powdrill md. 6/8/1921 - 5 children: Cynthia Thomas Henry Jr., Humphrey, Gwendolyn & Grace. Survived by wife, 11 children, a twin Brother, Rev. J. A. Kiah, Treasurere of the Delaware Conference & pastor of Shiloh M. E. Church, Crisfield, Md & 1 grandchild Dolorous Hughes. |
