Abstract An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Jesse Beavans to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 1 April 1834 to bind Ibby Custis F. N. orphan of Lura Custis F. N. until the age of eighteen, unto Jesse Beavans, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach her the trade of a House Servant and also pay her Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
