Abstract An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and John Lewis of Thomas to carry out an order made in the County Court to bind Negro girl Eve orphan of Mary Justice until the age of eighteen, unto John Lewis, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach her the trade of a House Servant and also pay her Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
