Abstract An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Solomon Marshall to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 30 May 1830 to bind Jesse Young son of Peter Young free Negro until the age of twenty one unto Solomon Marshall, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach him the trade of a Farmer and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
