Abstract An Indenture made by the Overseers of the Poor and Henry Bagwell to carry out an order made in the County Court dated 2 May 1825 to bind Negro boy John & girl Sally orphans of Ailsey Drummond until the age of twenty one and Sally until eighteen unto Henry Bagwell, who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach John the trade of a Farmer and Sally Spinning and also pay them Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
