Abstract An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and Zadock McMath to carry out an order made in County Court dated 27 July 1801 to bind a Colored Girl called Peggy orphan of Sinah Harman by J. George until the age of eighteen, unto Zadock McMath who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach her reading, writing and arithmetic, Spinning and Weaving and also pay her Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time
