| Abstract | Negro Harkless of Caroline Co. (manumitted by Thos. Johnins Seth of Queen Anne's Co.), in cons. of the love and regard I have for my wife Rachel, whom I purchased of John Young, to pay for which I have lost many drops of grease, manumit and set free my wife Rachel - until the metropolis of Caroline Co. shall be rent to pieces by the explosion of cannon annoucing the erection of dry docks for the presentation of Ships of War. |
