Abstract Joseph Talbot (Talbott) in consequence of faithful services rendered me by my negro woman Sarah and my belief of the incompatibility of a state of vasalage with repulicanism, do freely and volunarily manumit and set at liberty the said negro woman Sarah and negro girl Sintra, after 1 Jan. next, to be entirely exonerated from a state of vasalage from myself.
