Abstract Bennett Downes and Frances his wife of Queen Anne's County, to Perry Thomas, Negro. In consideration of $560, convey a tract on the west side of the main county road from Pippin's Church to Cain's Crossroads adjoining William Poor, Nat Winchester and others. Tract called "Cain's Discovery", where Perry Thomas lives, containing 97 acres. Same land sold by Joel Clements, trustee by a decree of John Johnson, Chancellor, in the case of Lewis H. Butler (?), against Catherine E. Keene and others to Bennett Downes.
