| Abstract | Anthony C. Thompson and Susan his wife of Dorchester Co., to Thomas W. Anderson, as Trustee - whereas A. C. Thompson, being in feeble health & unable to attend to his business affairs & desirous to clear up all outstanding obligations - all of his real estate in Poplar Neck, Caroline Co. purchased of Mrs. Eliza G. Kerr & Jacob C. Willson, about 1900 acres of land and other named properties and equipment with instructions as to their disposal; as well as the following negro slaves: Robert Spriggs 28 yo; Jim Fisher 26 yo; Jerry Ennalls 24 yo, Abraham Spriggs 18 yo; Jerry Young 16 yo; Moses Young 14 yo; Francis Young 12 yo; Alexander Kiah 11 yo; George Young 9 yo; Charles E. Young 7 yo; Thomas H. Nicols 4 yo; Walter Scott Tyler 2 yo; James Henry, child of Cassey abt 4 mos.; Pheobe Kiah abt 26 yo; Cassey Nicols abt 26 yo; Angeline Young 22 yo; Nancy Young 19 yo; Martin Kiah 6 mos. - to serve until they are age 30, then to be set free. |
