Downes and Sarah M. his wife to Simon Bordley, William Bordley, Hester Bordley, Stansbury Bordley, James Bordley, Caleb Bordley, George Bordley, Mary Catherine Bordley, in fee simple - subject to the dower rights of Caroline Bordley, widow of John Bordley - pt of Pratt Land cont. 33 acres, 1 rood - also part of land adjoining Bratches' Land. William H. Downes contracted to sell to John Bordley (free negro) late of Caroline Co., in his lifetime, two parcels of land at the price of $12.50 per acres, which money was partly paid and after his death the balance paid by Charles Bordley, admr. of said John Bordley.
