Abstract Edgar Plummer and George W. Thawley of Queen Anne's Co., admrs. of John Thawley, dec'd, to John Thawley, Jr. of Caroline Co., a bona fide resident of the State of Maryland for more than one year - cons. $866 - negro Alexander, to serve until 15 Jan 1859; negro Charles , to serve until 15 Jan 1861 - when each will be 30 years of age. Whereas John Thawley late of of Caroline Co., dec'd, has acknowledged negro woman Charlotte to have been purchased of Henry Nicols, dec'd to serve until she arrives at age of 30 - without specifying the condition of her issue, negroes Alexander and Charles have been disposed according to the order of Caroline Co. Orphans Court.
