Abstract James L. Bartol, Trustee, of Baltimore, to James H. Fountain - by an order of the court of Chancery on 16b Feb 1847, Bartol sold to James Groce (free negro), pt of "Logan's Hornes" adjoining John c. Cooper, Peter Sullivan (negro) and others, a lot belonging to Robert R. Emerson, and the lot of Nicholas fountain - cont. 7 1/4 acres for the sum of $32 - and since then Groce has sold to Fountain, 26 Dec. 1848 and requires Bartol to convey the same to Fountain with the approval of the Court.
