Abstract Luke Walker (a man of colour), for good causes and natural ties of affinity and for the sum of $1 - manumits his wife Anna, age 33, whom I purchased of Frederick Purnell; and the following children of my wife, purchased of Frederick Purnell, when the males shall arrive at age 24 and the females at age 20, the issue of the females to be free from birth: Louis Walker, born 8 Apr 1813; Elizabeth Walker, born 1 Mar 1815; Gilbert Walker, born 23 Jan 1817; Richard Clayton Walker, born 28 Dec 1818; Laura Ann Walker, born 25 Nov 1820; Thos. Walker, born 12 Sept 1822; Geo. Walker, born 21 Apr 1824; Mehala Walker, born 28 Mar 1826 and Wm. Walker, born 22 Dec 1827.
