Abstract Certificate of Removal. "On 20 Nov 1828 I removed from Kent Co., Delaware to Caroline Co. with intention of residing therein and brought with me a negro land named Alexander, abt. 13 on 15 Apr. last, a slave until he reaches age 35 - purchased of Wm. Hamilton - also a lad named John, abt. 11 on 29 May last, a slave born and raised in my own family - and also negro woman Leah, to be freed in 5 years and 1 month from this date, purchased of Hinson Graham - and request themto be registered in Caroline Co."
